摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a line light source which can be used for the image inputting part of a large-scaled image inputting device in more than an A3 size by using outer electrode rare gas fluorescent lamps. SOLUTION: A line light source 1 is provided with plural outer electrode rare gas fluorescent lamps and a fixing member 12 for fixing the plural outer electrode rare gas fluorescent lamps so that the center line of those lamps can be matched with each other. A contact type image sensor is provided with the line light source 1.
