PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a banner wrapping and curling up preventer which does not obstruct the natural streaming of a banner by loosely fitting the banner wrapping and curling up preventer which is not fixed to the banner, the hoops of the banner, a vertical rod of the banner, etc., to the vertical rod of the banner. SOLUTION: A plate of a polygonal shape is partly provided with a hole to be loosely fitted with the vertical rod of the banner and is provided with a notch form the edge of the plate toward the hole of the center. Further, the plate of the polygonal shape is provided with a cavity in a nonuniform or other position from the edge of the plate and the inner side of the cavity is provided with projecting guides of pliable materials in such a manner that the various sizes of the vertical rod may be supported and guided.
