Recombinant antibodies having specificity for beta-amyloid N-terminus and C-terminus and use in treating Alzheimer's Disease

DNA encoding a recombinant antibody molecule end-specific for the N-terminus or C-terminus of an amyloid-b peptide is provided. The DNA or recombinant antibody may be used in a method for preventing or inhibiting progression of Alzheimer's Disease by preventing the accumulation of amyloid-b peptides in the cerebrospinal fluid.
