PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spread spectrum signal receiver that can trace a path with high phase accuracy with respect to a signal received at a low sampling rate. SOLUTION: A received base band signal resulting from sampling a received signal according to a clock of N1/N2 times and passing through root roll-off filters passes through a simple transversal filter to generate an intermediate phase signal with an intermediate phase to sampled phases. A synchronization holding means such as a DLL can attain phase control accurate to 1/N1 chip by using selectively the intermediate phase signal or the original output of the roll-off filters. |
