PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode plate wherein in a cylindrical battery which forms a spiral electrode by using an electrode plate which is formed by being adhered of an active material to a lengthy core material and whose one brim end part is exposed and wherein a current collector has been welded on the exposed part, and provide one wherein a generation of welding failure in the production can be inhibited even if a core material of electrode is thin, and wherein the occurrence of an inside short circuit and a hindrance of permeation of electrolytic solution to an electrode are avoided. SOLUTION: As for the brim end part of a side facing to a positive electrode current collector 60 of the lengthy core material 11, core materials are exposed and a tub part 12 is formed. Further, to the brim end of the tab part 12, burrs 13 to project to outward from an outer circumferential side principal surface of lengthy core material is formed along with this. When welding the positive electrode current collector 60, the tab part 12 is formed in the direction to be pressed, but a strength to the pressing force is strong enough and a welding failure is hard to occur as burrs 13 are formed in the tab part 12. |
