PERMANENT MAGNET TYPE GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator which is small in size, thin in thickness and high in operation reliability of its rotor and can be integrated in a memory card I/O cartridge. SOLUTION: This permanent magnet type generator has a rotor which has a rotary force transmission unit and a permanent magnet with a plurality of rotor poles arranged on a circumferential surface, a stator which has a plurality of pole teeth on which stator coils are wound, and a housing which supports the rotor rotatably and fixes the stator at a position where the stator poles face the rotor poles with gaps. A shaft formed on the housing is fixed to a bearing for the rotation of the rotor by caulking.
