OFDM SIGNAL MODE DISCRIMINATOR

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional OFDM signal mode discriminator that cannot have limited transmission modes to one mode only with a frame length when there is a transmission mode where the frame length is the same but symbol lengths are different such as digital audio broadcasting(DAB). SOLUTION: Sliding correlation for a guard block length between a signal delayed by a valid symbol length and a signal not delayed is executed for a plurality of kinds of estimated transmission modes, and results of a plurality of kinds of sliding correlations are summed in a storage means by a plurality of kinds of symbol lengths with phase synchronization. The maximum values as the results of the sum by phase synchronization are compared and the highest value among the maximum values is selected to discriminate a transmission mode. The transmission mode can accurately be discriminated by this means at a high-speed.
