PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image related to image signals transmitted in different systems by a smaller circuit scale. SOLUTION: The signal-processing device comprises an input means for inputting 1st and 2nd image signals of different transmission systems from each other a 1st signal processing means for processing the 1st image signal by using a memory part and obtaining a prescribed form of an image signal, a 2nd signal processing means for processing the 2nd image signal by using the memory part and obtaining the prescribed form of an image signal, a detection means for detecting the transmission systems of the inputted image signals, a control means for controlling the 1st signal processing means and the 2nd signal processing means so as to selectively output the image signal obtained by the 1st signal processing means and the image signal obtained by the 2nd signal processing means according to results of the detection, and an output means for outputting the image signal selected by the control means to a display device.
