PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide picture cards for language learning which improve a learning effect at a low cost. SOLUTION: The picture cards for English language learning have the picture cards 11 for teachers, the picture cards 12 for children and English word seals 1. The picture cards 11 for teachers are printed with designs 14 and English words 15 in their surfaces ad are not printed at all on their backsides. When the teacher presents the picture card 11 for teachers, the teacher presents the card while concealing the English word 15 with the hand. The picture cards 12 for children are composed of one sheet for each one English word 15 and are printed with the designs 14 on their front surfaces and are not printed at all on their backsides. When studying by oneself, the child investigates the English word 15 from the designs 14 and makes learning by sticking the English word seal 13 corresponding thereto to the picture card 12 for children. The picture cards 11 for teachers are heretofore printed on both sides and require the cost for printing and the picture cards 12 for children are heretofore composed of another one sheet (total two sheets) for the one English word 15.
