PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hologram master plate for duplication using a layer having durability which can be easily produced as a transmittance controlling layer to be formed on an interference fringe pattern consisting of a light shielding material. SOLUTION: In the hologram master plate 10 for duplication which has an interference fringe pattern 3 consisting of a light shielding material on the surface of a transparent substrate and which has a transmittance controlling layer 5 on the interference fringe pattern 3, a metal thin film is used as the transmittance controlling layer 5. Further an antireflection layer 6 is formed on the transmittance controlling layer 5.
