PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal fixing machine without causing wrinkles even when a crown-shaped roll is used and without increasing its manufacturing cost for securing its precision. SOLUTION: A roll whose diameter is varied in the shape of an inverted crown in a longitudinal direction is used for a thermal fixing roll 2, and a roll, whose diameter is varied in the shape of a normal crown in a longitudinal direction is used for a press roll 3. The relationship where each nip speed of a central part and an edge part between nip velocity Vm of middle part and nip velocity Ve of edge part is 0.995<Ve/Vm<1.01, and it is set, so that the distribution of linear velocities at the nip part is approximately symmetric, with respect to the middle part and the velocity is gradually increased from the middle part to the edge part at a constant ratio.
