COOLING/HEATING SYSTEM UTILIZING WASTE HEAT

PURPOSE: A cooling/heating system utilizing waste heat is provided to reduce power and fuel consumption, while achieving advantages in installation cost and space occupancy. CONSTITUTION: A cooling/heating system comprises a water circulation heat pump unit(40); a compressor(41) installed within the water circulation heat pump unit, and which compresses refrigerant gas into high temperature high pressure state; a high temperature side heat exchanger(42) for recovering high temperature heat and condensing the refrigerant during heat exchange between the compressed refrigerant and water; a low temperature side heat exchanger(43) for obtaining low temperature water to be stored in a cool water tank(45) through the heat exchange between the low temperature refrigerant gas passed through the high temperature side heat exchanger and an expansion valve, with the water circulated by a circulation pump; and a four-way valve for controlling refrigerant flow direction for cooling or heating operation during summer or winter time.
