PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents managing device which enables effective reuse of raw material data although there was the problem point that the raw material data used for contents are not effectively reused. SOLUTION: Meta-date regarding contents data and raw material data that a contents creator has registered are managed by a meta-information management part 7 and at a request from a user terminal 4, an information providing part 8 outputs an instruction to a contents meta-information retrieval part 10 and a raw material meta-information retrieval part 11 to retrieve and obtain meta-information and send it to the user terminal 4.
