PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a decomposition on a lithium containing compound nitride of non-aqueous electrolytic solution or the like at a high temperature storage, and prevent the generation of gas and the reduction of battery capacity by self-discharge in a battery which uses lithium containing composite nitride for a negative electrode. SOLUTION: This is equipped with a positive electrode, negative electrode and nonaqueous electrolytic solution, and the negative electrode which is composed of lithium containing compound nitride expressed in a general formula Lix, Mv, N (M: transition metal, 0<=x<=3, 0.1<=y<=0.8), and, is configured from particulate materials having a phase that contains Li2CO3 in a surface layer part or a phase in which the content of M is smaller than that of inside in the surface layer part. |
