PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when the picture exchange is performed between personal computers, pictures to be displayed on both computers can be made isochromatic under a certain situation by using a color management system, but it is difficult to keep the isochromatic feelings of both pictures to be maintained in accordance with degradation of the devices associated with a secular change because there is a difference in use times of liquid crystal display devices and individual characteristics of the computers. SOLUTION: In this transmission type liquid crystal display device, either a luminance correction to be included at least in RGB signals or a chromaticity correction to be included at least in the RGB signals is performed by the value measured with a photosensor 2.
