PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise and the quantity of suctions of dust into a housing by using a fan efficiently. SOLUTION: A display device has a display panel 22 to display an image, circuit boards 1a, 1b,..., 1h equipped with a drive circuit to drive the display panel 22, a housing 18 which forms a ventilation path 25b, contains the circuit boards 1a, 1b,..., 1h and opens a display region of the display panel 22, a first inlet port 24b formed at the lower part of the housing 18 for introducing cooling wind and discharge ports 26a and 26b formed at the upper part of a housing 18 for exhausting the cooling wind. A ventilation control plate 30 to control draft is provided in an intermediate position between the first inlet port 24b of the ventilation path 25b in the housing 18 and the discharge ports 26a and 26b and a second inlet port 31 to introduce the cooling wind is provided in the discharge ports 26a, 26b side of the ventilation control plate 30.
