PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a printing plate exposure device which can prevent the neglect in discarding the punch dust collected in a dust collection box and can inexpensively realize the same. SOLUTION: The automatic printing plate exposure device 100 takes out a photopolymer plate 102 mounted at a truck 200, transports the plate to a device body and exposes an image to the photopolymer plate 102. The device body is provided with punch holes by a puncher 160 on the photopolymer plate 102 placed on the surface plate 110, guides the punch dust by the punch holes by a chuter 204 and collects the punch dust into the dust collection box 202. Since the truck 200 is provided with the dust collection box 202, the punch dust may be discarded from the dust collection box 202 when detaching the truck 200 from the device body, by which the neglect in discarding the punch dust is prevented and the trouble by the punch dust flowing over from the dust collection box 202 may be prevented. Further, there is no need for providing the device with a mechanism for detecting that the dust collection box 202 is full of the punch dust and therefore the device may be made inexpensive.
