PURPOSE: An impact resistance improved loose tube optical ground wire is provided to absorb shock applied to the optical fiber tubes while easily transforming a central wire made of a keblar material between the optical fiber tubes. CONSTITUTION: An impact resistance improved loose tube optical ground wire includes a protective tube(3), steel-plated aluminum conducting wires arranged on the outer periphery of the protective tube in a prescribed pitch, a central wire(1) formed along the inner center of the protective tube and many optical fiber tubes(2) arranged on the central wire in a prescribed pitch. The central wire is made of keblar and formed at the inner center of the protective tube in a longitudinal direction.
