PURPOSE: A reservation checking system is provided to enable a user to make a reservation on a service over the Internet, and to receive a short message of reserved data on a mobile phone. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a service provider(30), a server(20), and a web site(10). The web site(10) offers informations on the service provided by the service provider(30), and receives a reservation request on the service from a user by using a reservation program. The system additionally includes a server database(22) and a service provider database. The server database(22) stores user data and reservation related data. The service provider database stores service data, seat and time schedule data according to the service, and reservation certification codes. The user accesses the web site(10) and then request a reservation on a wanted service. The web site asks the service provider if the user can reserve the service, and requests a reservation on the service if possible. The service provider issues a reservation certification code to the web site, the web site generates an online ticket, and transmits a character message on the online ticket to a mobile phone of the user.
