PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the AAA reception of RACH and the AAA transmission of AICH and to reduce the interferences with other stations. SOLUTION: Instead of calculating a weight using signals of a preamble part of RACH, the signals of the preamble part of RACH are received with AAA in plural directivity patterns using existing weights for producing a delay profile for each directivity pattern. Then, the delay profile is used for detecting the preamble part and the inverse spread timing. The gist of this invention is that the control signals of AICH are transmitted with AAA in the directivity pattern that is selected when the signals of the preamble part of RACH are received with AAA.
