PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transaction intermediary system in which an order sending condition from a purchaser of merchandise and a service and an order receiving condition on which a trader can provide the merchandise and the service are interactively exchanged on a communication network to establish a transaction. SOLUTION: When a transaction intermediary server 13 provided on a communication network such as the Internet N1 receives an order sending condition from a communication terminal device 12 desiring to offer the merchandise and the service, the server 13 selects cooperating servers 11 that can provide merchandise and a service of an genre related to the order sending condition, and transmits the order sending condition to the servers 11. The purchase transmits approval information or alternate information to the order sending condition returned from the servers 11 an on-line state, and the merchandise and the service are intermediated between the purchase and the trader by confirming that the purchase freely selects the order receiving condition provided by the trader.
