PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To intuitively and instantaneously understand the state of a finger placed on a fingerprint input part. SOLUTION: A two-dimensional pattern P is displayed on a display part 10-2. The size of the two-dimensional pattern P shows the area of an input fingerprint picture and inner concentration shows the gradation degree of the input fingerprint picture and a position shows the position of the input fingerprint picture. The three stages of a 'size P', a 'size 2' and a 'size 3' are prepared for the sizes of the two-dimensional pattern P, the three stags of a 'pattern 1 (1/10 density)', a 'pattern 2 (1/2 density)' and a 'pattern 3 (density)' for concentration and the nine stages of a 'position P' to a 'position 9' for positions. The size, inner concentration and the position of the two-dimensional pattern P are decided by calculating the area, gray level and centroid of the input fingerprint picture. |
