PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser oscillator wherein air breakdown is suppressed better than before for improved durability of a chopper disc. SOLUTION: A laser oscillator 1 comprises a first resonator 9 for oscillating first laser beam L1, a second resonator 13 for oscillating second laser beam L2, and a Q switch device 16 for intermittently radiating first and second laser beams. Related to the laser oscillator, the same chopper disc 18 of the Q switch device is inserted in the first and second laser beams L1 and L2 at the same time, with the first laser beam L1 and the second laser beam L2 allowed to pass through different through parts 19 of the chopper disc.
