PURPOSE: A device for displaying basicity is provided to conveniently check the content of salt in food or beverage precisely without any deviation per user, thereby improving the health and the cooking skill. CONSTITUTION: A device for displaying basicity of food or beverage includes a power supply part for supplying a uniform power to a conductivity sensing element and a display, conduit and anode and cathode parts for the transmission of the electricity, the conductivity sensing element measuring an amount of the current flowing between the anode and the cathode, an element for transmitting the strength of the current from the conductivity sensing element to electric signals, and a database chip for storing numerical data, wherein the display part displays the basicity according to the signal from the conductivity sensing element on the basis of the database.
