PURPOSE: An adhesive material containing a principal monomer for preparing shoes is provided to make the adhesive monomer to be water-soluble to accomplish non-harmful adhesive whereas maintaining adhesiveness, water-resistance and physical property by replacing the existing oil-based solvent with an environmental friendship mostanol L and water. CONSTITUTION: The adhesive comprises 140-40 weight parts of mostanol L composed of 65 weight parts of ethylalcohol and 35 weight parts of isopropylalcohol based on 100 weight parts of the principal adhesive monomer; 60-10 weight parts of water and 0.2-5 weight parts of a water-soluble agent and excludes common emulsifier material. The principal adhesive monomer is formed of 95-40 weight parts of butyl acrylate; 1-18 weight parts of methyl methacrylate; 1-15 weight parts of vinyl acrylate; 1-12 weight parts of acrylic acid; 1-14.8 weight parts of acrylamide; and 1-0.2 weight parts of azo-bis-isobutyronitrile.
