NON-CONTACT TYPE CONVEYOR BELT DETECTION APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A non-contact type conveyor belt detection apparatus is provided to achieve a constant detection activity regardless of dust caused from the article being conveyed or noise caused from other devices. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a sensing unit and a control unit. The sensing unit includes a pair of side sensors(30) to which both ends of a conveyor belt(11) are inserted so as to allow side sensors to sense the position of both ends of the conveyor belt; and a lower sensor(50) disposed at the lower surface of the conveyor belt, and which senses the height of the conveyor belt. The control unit includes a display section for receiving a signal from the sensing unit, and displaying sensed state of each sensor for user recognition; an adjusting section for adjusting set state of the sensing unit; and a control section for comparing the set state of the adjusting section and signals output from each sensor, and controlling operation of the conveyor belt.
