PURPOSE: A gas valve alarm device is provided to sense a user outing by using a door lock sensor, and to enable a user to recognize an opening state of the gas valve by blinking LEDs installed on a surface of a door or generating alarm sound in the case that the user is to go out while the gas valve is open. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a valve sensor(40), a signal generator(42), a power input module(44), a signal input module(46), a signal convertor(48), a key sensor(50), an AND gate(52), a controller(54), a relay switch(58), a blink driver(60), a flickering circuit(62), and a speaker driver(64). The valve sensor(40) senses an opening state of an intermediate valve. The signal generator(42) generates a specific pulse signal carried in a carriage wave if the intermediate valve is open. The power input module(44), including a power rectifier, receives the power from an adapter. The signal input module(46) receives the signals transmitted from the signal generator(42). The signal convertor(48) filters the transmitted signal by eliminating the carriage wave. The AND gate outputs an effective pulse in the case that the pulse signal of both the signal convertor(48) and the key sensor is one. The controller(54) generates a control signal for driving an LED if the effective signal is output from the AND gate(52). The flicker circuit(62) switches on or off the input power at a regular interval for a repeated blinking.
