PURPOSE: A communication system using a periodical waveform overlap digital communication is provided to improve simplicity, economy, and reliability by varying the composition of a system by a microprocessor. CONSTITUTION: A periodical waveform overlap communication unit(2) composed of a microprocessor, a transceiver, and a line driver is installed in a terminal equipment/device(3). The periodical waveform overlap communication unit(2) is installed in a central control/monitoring device(4) for exchanging data of the terminal equipment/device(3) using a periodical waveform channel(1). Data collected by the microprocessor are modulated into an FSK(Frequency Shift Keying) signal.
