PURPOSE: An apparatus for disposing food garbage is provided which forms the dried and dehydrated garbage into solid by shortly drying and dehydrating the food garbage so as to use the disposed food garbage as stock feed or organic fertilizer, and prevents environmental pollution by not discharging the contaminants into the outside. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for disposing food garbage comprises a piling part on which the food garbage is piled up; a garbage transfer means which is installed inside the piling part so as to transfer the piled food garbage toward a discharging port of the piling part; a crushing chamber(130) which is connected to the piling part so as to receive the food garbage transferred by the food garbage transfer means; crushing means(131a,131b) crushing the food garbage received in the crushing chamber(130); a garbage solidification means solidifying the food garbage by receiving the food garbage from the crushing chamber(130); a collection part(149) collecting the food garbage that is solidified into a certain shape by the garbage solidification means; and a filtering means which is connected to the garbage solidification means so as to exhaust the purified gas into the outside after purifying the steam gas by sucking steam gas generated from the food garbage into the filtering means.
