The invention concerns a method for assembling a conduit (1) on a rigid tubular end piece (3) using a nut (7) screwed on the end piece (3), characterised in that it consists in fixing a metal ring (5) around the conduit (1), and in using the screwing process of the nut (7) to achieve secure irreversible mechanical interlocking between the ring (5) and the conduit (1).
