Specifically detecting microorganisms in a sample by Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) where in addition to reaction primers specific to the target organism, competition primers specific for non-target organisms are also used, is new. An Independent claims is also included for a DNA primer developed on the basis of structural or functional genes of the microorganism where the genes exhibit both specific ranges and master specific ranges.
