In a winter operational position of a flow guide, fresh air sucked in via an inlet/outlet port (12) takes away a first heat quantity from the rear of the photovoltaic modules (3) and/or it is heated by thermal absorbers (8), as well as being delivered to the building via the flow guide and a ventilator (16). In the Summer operational position of the flow guide, the used air exhausted by the ventilator from the building takes away a second heat quantity from the rear of the photovoltaic modules and discharges it via the inlet/outlet port to atmosphere. An Independent claim is included for a solar energy installation.
