<p>The present invention provides a method and system for evaluation of a medical conclusion such as a diagnosis. The present invention may be applied either retrospectively to evaluate a prior medical conclusion or prospectively to evaluate one or more hypothetical medical conclusions. A core engine (221), which may be implemented as a back-end at a node coupled to an information network such as the Internet (214), converts raw medical data in the form of phrases into a normalized form, and then segments the normalized data into discrete temporal segments. The core engine also performs a clinical conclusion analysis and reporting process to evaluate one or more clinical conclusions with conclusions with respect to the determined temporal segments.</p> |
