The system has transport, conveying and handling mechanisms, for conveying the fuel, the ash and the heat transporting medium. The grinding system (3) has milling facilities, with which a non-fossil solid fuel is reduced to particles of 0.01 to 5 mm size, preferably 0.1 to 3 mm. The grinding system (3) is has a blower, and a carrying air flow (17) with a temperature of 100 to 500 degrees C. Preferably 200-400 degrees C is produced, for the greatest transport of the reduced fuel. Independent claims are included for a method of producing electrical energy.
