A rear console part (2) is detachably fixed by detent catches (6) between the front console part (1) and the rear bench seat (3). The detent catches are preferably in the connecting area with the front console part and a push-fit connection fixes the rear console part to the back seat. The spring-loaded detent catches can be released by press button switches.
