PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for recovering managing information data for enabling random access or special reproducing by recovering animation and audio data, which are recorded on a recording medium until stop, even when power supply is unexpectedly interrupted and recording is stopped, for example, during real time recording. SOLUTION: This unit is provided with a video/audio/managing information multiplexing means for generating data, which are required for generating the managing information data for the random access or special reproducing of the recording medium, and multiplexing the data required for generating the managing information data, encoded video data outputted from a video encoding means and encoded audio data outputted from an audio encoding means. |
