PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planographic printing plate excellent in stable ink receptivity and printing resistance as a planographic printing plate using a surface- roughened and anodically oxidized aluminum plate as the base and utilizing a silver complex salt diffusion transfer process. SOLUTION: In the planographic printing plate with physical developing nuclei between a surface-roughened and anodically oxidized aluminum base and silver halide emulsion layer, a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound having a mercapto or thione group is contained between the aluminum base and the silver halide emulsion layer.
