PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC motor which can output efficiently a necessary torque corresponding to a load torque which fluctuates in accordance with a rotation angle position. SOLUTION: When a rotation angle position is (90 or 270) degrees where a load torque is large, windings 2a and 2b on the small output torque side are short-circuited with brushes. On the other hand, when the rotation angle position is (180 or 360) degrees where the load torque is small, windings 1a and 1b on the large output torque side are short-circuited with brushes.
