PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure switch and that has a simple structure, durability and high reliability in which the outer circumferential part of a diaphragm can be fixed surely, even though high pressure is applied to the diaphragm and a responsive-acting part is elongated. SOLUTION: This pressure switch interlocks with a toggle-spring mechanism 22 and turns a microswitch 30 on and off. A switching body 1 is divided into two parts, and, in the boundary, a pressure chamber 10 interconnected with a pressure source and a diaphragm holder 11 around the pressure chamber are arranged. With this diaphragm holder, the outer circumferential part 12a of a diaphragm is held and fixed, by a responsive-acting part 12b of the diaphragm, the pressure chamber is partitioned into the side of the pressure source and the side of the atmospheric pressure, and a double-ring rib 15 is arranged on the outer circumferential part of the diaphragm.
