PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high speed and high resolution access by a minimum constituent element. SOLUTION: In a head positioning mechanism part through a suspension arm oscillated by a main actuators in a radial direction of a disk-like storage medium, a fine positioning mechanism consisting of a fixing part having a moving part for holding a head slider and an oscillation supporting part is formed in the suspension arm to oscillate, simultaneously, at least two fine positioning mechanisms 4 formed in both sides of a disk 11 perform fine oscillation motion by the control of voltage applied to at least two beam parts 43 and to a piezoelectric element 41 for the beam parts, consisting of a piezoelectric/electrostrictive element. Thus, positioning control of fine and coarse motions of a head part can be performed, and the high speed and the high resolution are obtained easily.
