PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive objective lens driving device which does not higher an optical pickup from being thinned. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an objective lens 1 condensing light on a disk, a holder 2 holding the objective lens 1, a focusing coil 3 wound onto the nearly center of the side surface of the holder around an axis orthogonal to the disk 24, a tracking coil 4 wound onto the holder around an axis parallel to the disk, a first yoke and a second yoke arranged oppositely to the driving force generating part of the focusing coil 3 and the tracking coil 4, and a first magnet and a second magnet which are closely and fixedly brought into contact with these yokes and are magnetized in the direction orthogonal to the driving force generating part of the focusing coil 3 and the tracking coil 4. The first magnet and the second magnet are arranged in the positional relation of heights different each other in the height (focus) direction.
