<p>A supply voltage control device provided with a reliable input signal generator or a small and novel monitor circuit. A supply voltage control device may comprise a semiconductor circuit (11); an input signal generator (12) for generating a reference signal (outØi) and an input signal (outØ0) from a clock signal (clk) while changing the phase difference (i) between the two signals according to a control signal (Si); a monitor circuit (13) having a supply voltage versus delay characteristic equivalent (or similar) to a critical path of the semiconductor circuit (11) and adapted to propagate the input signal (outØ0) and produce a delay signal (outØ0') with delay equivalent to the critical path; a delay detection circuit (14) for detecting the delay of the delay signal (outØ0') with respect to the reference signal (outØi); and a supply voltage control circuit (15) for controlling the supply voltage (VDD) supplied to the semiconductor circuit (11) and the monitor circuit (13) based on the result of detection.</p> |
