The letter insert slot (31) is located in a frame profile section (30) connectable to the box body. The closure flap is a profile section and the frame profile section comprises coupling retainers (37,38) on its rear side. The flap profile section has a bearing holder in the top edge region. The ends of the frame profile section and flap profile section are covered by mirror-image parts, fitted with coupling and, bearing lugs for inserting into corresponding parts. The cover parts overlap the fastening shanks (32,34) and are connected together to the box body.
