An equipping device (1) has a movable supply device (4) for electrical components (7) for equipping substrates (3), which travel through the equipping device (1) on a linear transportation path (2). The supply device (4) has a carrier (8) for supply modules (5), which are each assigned to a magazine (6) holding the components. The carrier (4) is movably mounted on a chassis of the equipping device in such a way that the pick-off-/ fetch-points (14) of the supply modules are movable in the pick- off-/fetch-zone of a handling device (e.g. 10,11). The handling device has an equipping head (11) horizontally traversable in two directions of coordinates for handling the components (7). The carousal-type carrier (11) can rotate about a vertical axis of the chassis and the disc-shaped supply modules (5) are mounted approximately radially oriented on the carrier in rotationally symmetrical distribution.
