DIGITAL CONTRACT

The invention relates to a method for making and transmitting a digital contract and to a method for receiving a digital contract over a telecommunication network between two parties, said telecommunication network and/or parties comprising at least a transport part and an application part, in which method the contract comprises at least the contracting parties, an object of agreement, a contract overlay to be used and contract data and in which method the contract is approved with a digital signature. In the methods of the invention, the information transmitted between the application part and the transport part comprises only the receiver or sender data, the contract data and the object of agreement. In the methods, only the most essential part of the contract is transmitted between the sender and the receiver, yet without compromising in any way on data security or legitimacy of the contract.
