The drive consists of a membrane on the end of a tube which can be vibrated. When the drive is in water, the water can be moved in the tube to produce a drive force. The fluid can enter from any direction but can only be expelled in one direction, creating a jet. More than one drive is advisable to ensure that the craft can be controlled.
