The invention relates to a laser module with a coupling lens (6) that is mounted independent of a laser submount (2) and that has a high numerical aperture and excellent imaging properties, whereby the laser radiation emitted by the laser diode collimates or focuses onto the optical axis (OA) of the laser module. The coupling lens is adjusted at an angle to the optical axis by way of an intermediate ring (4) of the housing and in the longitudinal direction of the optical axis by means of a focusing element (5) disposed in the intermediate ring so that the optical axis (typically axis of symmetry) of the coupling lens coincides as precisely as possible with the optical axis of the laser module. |
