The injection pump has a distributor shaft (10) rotating in a bearing (14), with a distribution groove (22). The shaft also has an axially extending lubricant groove (24, 26) which comes out on one endface of the shaft and extends as far as an annular cavity in the bearing. This cavity is continuously supplied with fuel under feed pressure.
