The dosing device has a housing, a working container for liquid fitted into an opening of a plate-shaped wall and fixing and sealing arrangements for liquid-tight fixing of the dosing device. The fixing arrangements on one housing side are housing elements, of which a first is coupled to the inside of a working container wall and a second is coupled to the outside of the working container wall. The dosing device (13) has a housing, a working container accommodating the liquid fitted into an opening of a plate-shaped wall and fixing (27,29,35) and sealing arrangements for liquid-tight fixing of the dosing device. The fixing arrangements act essentially on two opposing sides of the dosing device's housing. The fixing arrangements on one housing side are housing elements, of which a first is coupled to the inside of a working container wall (7) and a second is coupled to the outside of the working container wall. Independent claims are also included for the following: a method of attaching a dosing device to section of a plate-shaped wall of a working container accommodating a liquid.
