The facility for identifying the modulation point of the pneumatic braking power intensifier (1). This facility can be used for operating a further braking power intensifying system and is provided as a single switch or sensor medium (32), which senses a maximum approach (a,z) lying above a switching threshold, between a component part if the braking intensifier esp. as an input element (7) representing the input force (Fe) and a component part (14,5) of the braking intensifier representing the intensifying force (Fv) esp. a movable wall (2) or a component part (5) connected with it. In addition means are provided for identifying the holding time of the maximum approach. So that only after the expiry of a predetermined time span, which lies inside that of the max. approach, a signal indicating the modulation point is produced.
